City of San Gabriel FOG Inspections

Project Scope

CWE provided Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) food service and restaurant inspection services to the City of San Gabriel to enhance its FOG control and Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) prevention program.  Tasks included: pre-inspection outreach, multilingual (English, Mandarin, Spanish, and Vietnamese) food service worker FOG control training sheet development, performing and documenting 400 FOG inspections, and training workers regarding the need to maintain grease traps and separators, and the relationship between FOG and SSOs.
