City of Glendora Local Agency Management Program Plan Development
CWE assisted the City of Glendora with the development of a Local Agency Management Program (LAMP) Plan. This plan followed guidelines outlined in the Water Quality Control Policy for Siting, Design, Operation and Maintenance of the Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS).
The LAMP provides a comprehensive explanation of the various requirements, policies, procedures, and measures used to regulate and oversee the use of OWTS within the City.
CWE generated a map of established OWTS Locations. A full review of the City’s Ordinances was conducted to establish existing requirements for OWTS locations. This included siting location standards, design styles and construction methods of the OWTS. Areas where the current OWTS locations was lacking were identified and the map was updated with proposed solutions.
The LAMP Plan was updated to meet all needed requirements. This was all coordinated with Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board staff. A PowerPoint presentation was prepared to present the LAMP Plan and its findings to the Regional Board members.
