City of Agoura Hills Water Quality Master Plan

“I want to thank our staff and consultants for putting together a great Water Quality Master Plan.”
Illece Buckley Weber

Project Scope

CWE developed a Water Quality Master Plan for the City of Agoura Hills.  This plan was a roadmap for pre-planning, design, implementation, and future stormwater improvement efforts.

Evaluations of the City’s existing stormwater facilities and hydrologic characteristics helped establish the existing baseline.  This information helped produce a Geographic Information System (GIS) based inventory.  Then a drainage atlas was generated from the GIS data.

CWE evaluated the City’s watershed impairments and existing water quality data.  With this information, CWE formalized the City’s minimum control measures and ordinances.  The stormwater program goals were formalized and documented.  A capital outlay program with associated anticipated costs was developed.

To help with the financial demands for the upcoming projects, a phased implementation plan was prepared.  It also identified grant funding opportunities.

An infrastructure maintenance plan was developed to insure the sustainability of all project structures.  Finally a comprehensive Water Quality Master Plan was compiled from all the information generated from these efforts.
